Chennai-based education services firm Everonn Business Education Limited (EBEL) is planning to open 500 Indigrow Institute of Professional Studies (IIPS) centres in India by 2015. The company will invest around Rs 1 crore in each centre.
Launching its IIPS centre in Hyderabad, KSN Sukumaran, vice-president EBEL, said, “As of now EBEL has 65 IIPS centres across the country. We are planning to double the existing number by 2011.”
IIPS, a full-time business management institute, offers MBA, BBA and executive MBA degrees through classroom teaching and VSAT technology.
“In the Hyderabad centre, 180 students will be enrolled for the current year and plans are there to open IIPS in other cities of Andhra Pradesh,” Sukumaran added.
EBEL has tied up with Retailers Association of India for placements.[Source: Business Standard]
