Reportedly, as many as 96 colleges in the state have failed to get accreditation from NAAC.
These colleges haven’t received NAAC accreditation even once. A three-day meeting of the principals of these colleges will be held.
Ganesh Hegde, deputy adviser of NAAC, will attend the meeting with the colleges.
During the meeting, colleges will be told how to prepare a self-study report which is essential for NAAC accreditation. The report should contain qualifications of faculty members, details of former students who had passed, and a report on the placement cell of the colleges, among others, reported ToI.
